On the Rocks

We stayed in this cabin on our very first trip to Maine in 2019, and we returned this year with our son. The cabin is rustic but well-curated, it's cozy and quiet...and the view is unbeatable. We had a challenge with the WiFi-no access for the first 24 hours. Wendy and her team were extremely responsive and worked to get a technician out quickly. This normally wouldn't be a problem (who comes to Maine to stare at a screen?!), but given the lack of cell service in the house, it made me a bit uneasy to have no real form of communication in an emergency. Ultimately, no big deal in the grand scheme and like I said-the team worked very quickly to resolve. I highly recommend walks along the King Phillips Trail loop-beautiful views, and really lovely people along the way. Thanks for a great stay!

A joyful cottage. The view from the deck is spectacular. 180 degrees right to left or vice versa bay and ocean. Looking down on the rocks, waves and swells. So many shapes, sizes and colors. The living space is fine and comfortable. Bed is pleasant with a restful mattress. It is quiet with lots of privacy. The stairs are manageable, take your time and rest breaks as you go up and down. Vey enjoyable.
