Crow's Nest

This was our second stay at Crow's Nest. Judy met us when we arrived and provided a warm welcome! We enjoyed being such a short walk to town. We went daily for coffee, lunch, shopping, dinner, and Windjammer Days activities. Do be aware that the driveway is very steep. The house was spotless when we arrived, and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 college aged kids (who slept in the spacious downstairs - bunks/TV/couch). The screened porch is one of the best features! Shaded for much of the day, it is very quiet and relaxing. Bring binoculars if you're a bird watcher. Egrets, cormorants, ducks, robins, and of course seagulls all made a visit. On the one rainy day of our stay, we took advantage of the reading/TV room upstairs, which is very cozy and comfortable. Having the washer/dryer available was much appreciated. Kitchen area is open, good sized, and well stocked with dish/flat ware, pans, toaster, coffee maker, mugs, cups, tinfoil, dish towels, paper towels, etc. Bring your own everything food wise (there are some spices/salt/pepper). The fridge has an ice maker, and the dishwasher and grill both worked well. Communication from Sea Maine is always excellent - we will stay with them again!

We loved every minute of our stay, the cutest cottage was so relaxing, view of cove , sounds of seagulls !Walking distance to downtown Boothbay. Enjoyed whale watching trip and saw puffins and 2 humpback whales. The cottage was just like the description on VrboHoping to get to Boothbay again, we will book the cottage !

First I want to say thank you to an awesome management team. We lost our key and within 30 minutes Judy was there with a smile on her face and a no problem attitude. Thanks again Judy. The cottage is so cute and so clean. We hated to leave. Tons of wildlife too. About a 5-10 minute walk to town and tons of good eats within a 10 minute drive if you want to leave the harbor. Everything you need for a great vaca and a perfect setting.Would stay again and loved Boothbbay Harbor.

Cute, comfortable and great location. The ages of our family ranged from 25 to 81 and there was space for everyone to get away to read a book or watch TV. Very close to town yet very quiet. Although we didn't know about Windjammer Days when we booked, we enjoyed the activities and felt like a townie by time we left. No need to wander into town to see the fireworks. You can see them from the dock!
