Adorable home in a quiet, secluded location near Boothbay Harbor. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with all the essentials. The kitchen was well appointed and made for easy meal prep. Laundry and AC also helped make this a home away from home for 3 weeks. The location, on a small inlet with a dock, made for easy enjoyment of the outdoors and getting into the daily rhythm of the tides. Just a short drive to central Boothbay Harbor and an even shorter one to the botanical garden.

This was our first time staying in Boothbay. We loved our time on Barters Island. The house is very comfortable and clean. The dock and grounds are lovely. We rented kayaks and enjoyed exploring the area around the island. We visited nearby land trusts: Porter Point, Ovens Mouth, Oak Point Farm, and Florence Perkins Homestead. We recommend lunch at Newagan Inn and Cozy Dockside in Southport. Property managers were great, responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Peaceful setting
