Bluewater Vista

My second year staying at Bluewater Vista was even better than the first! I shared the cottage with my granddaughter, her husband and two little girls who begged to return to the cottage they enjoyed so much last year. Two living room seating areas, the outdoor deck and wraparound porch afforded plenty of space to gather or spend alone time. Cooking meals was a breeze with the new oven and microwave; same for cleanup with the new dishwasher. Utilizing the barbecue grill and feasting outdoors with the wonderful view of Linekin Bay was the perfect ending to a day of playing on the beach, hitching a boat ride from the town dock, playing tennis at the community center, hiking the trail to town or any number of other excursions in the Boothbay Region. MY favorite things: The ROCKING CHAIRS, the view from practically every window in the cottage and the wonderful artworks adorning the walls. Hope to return soon!

We thought the cottage was so pretty and it had a wonderful porch looking out to the sea. A very nice neighborhood with friendly families. It was easy to get to BoothBay and most any other area you’d want to visit. Make sure to go to the botanical gardens!

A charming house, with beautiful views

Splendid. Again! This was our second time staying at Blue Water Vista and once again it was a wonderful week. The view of Linekin Bay is just as advertised. Sitting in a porch rocker with a cup of coffee on the front porch is pure joy in the morning. That same view is available from the two front bedrooms, and for a more expansive view try bringing your coffee to the top of the back yard. The ample front porch is also great for having everyone eat together. The East Boothbay General Store is a manageable walk away and offers many delicious food options. Boothbay Harbor is a very short drive away as are a grocery store and drug store. The location is just so convenient. Peace and quiet while you are “home” but everything you need just a short drive away. As for the house itself it is magnificent. The recent full renovation was so well done. The rooms are bright and clean, there is lots of room and everything works. Add to that some tasteful furniture choices and some lovely artwork and you really feel like you are staying at a nice hotel more than a rental cabin. Blue Water Vista has become our new favorite destination and we are looking forward to going back every year.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views!Home is very accommodating with homey Maine interior, really loved it! Owner cares about his home and was very responsive as was Wendy at Seamaine. Bayville is close to everything and has a cute little playground for little ones, tennis and a lending library. Best place I've ever rented
