Coastal Cottage

Another great stay @ Coastal Cottage. We love it, esp. the undercover deck with dining table. Suggestions: --time to power wash the decks --please put shades in the upstairs bathroom thank you!

Nice old fashioned summer style cottage a block away from one of the most beautiful views of the ocean- Spectacular walks, beach days- and quiet.

We had an amazing stay! We enjoyed the wrap around porch with a swing & the beautiful yard! The house was so cozy, reminded me of staying at my grandparents as a kid! The beds were comfortable! A beautiful refinished kitchen. Checkin was so personal, we were even offered tomatoes from the garden. Our dogs had a ball! We would definitely return! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Most of the house is original (>100 yers old), with additions which to modernize plumning etc. Spacious property with covered porch for outside eating where we ate most of or meals. All amenties we expected were working fine. Local people manage the property and were very helpful. Less than 100 yards from the ocean, easy walk to beach, lots of places towalk, bike ride etc.and about 15 minutes from Boothbay Harbor by car.

Long-time Ocean Point family with family connections back to the gentleman, E.E. Newbert, that surveyed the grid for Ocean Point residential development. We love Coastal Cottage because it is indeed a cottage, and looks like one! (Tho we do enjoy the modern kitchen.) It is perfect, don't change a thing.
