We had just a wonderful 2 week vacation at Spruce Rock. Privacy… and the view of the shore and ocean is unparalleled. Just an old school delight; a cottage that embraces you with atmosphere and comfort. Perfection!

We had another fantastic stay at Spruce Rock. The house was clean and the view is perfect. We will visit again!

This not a hotel-like Mcmansion. The house has almost 100 years of character with a beautiful porch overlooking the ocean and the pounding waves on the rocks. It's a wonderful place to relax, read a book, have a glass of wine, or all three at the same time. A number of upgrades have been made over our years there, which improved our experience. Thanks for keeping this gem available for us to rent. It is becoming rare and endangered on the Maine Coast.

Spruce Rock was a dream come true. Just what an old Maine cottage should be: rooms with antique charms and flooded with light and incredible views of the water; yet, with all the modern amenities that one would expect. Truly, a feast for the eyes, both inside and out. We hope to return to this dream place next year. Simply gorgeous; simply perfect.

As soon as my husband walked in the smells and kitchen cabinets took him back to 3 years old and his grandparents farmhouse! The place is quaint and quirky and we loved it. The beds were comfortable, rooms nice size and all the modern amenities needed with the comforts of home.
